An Opportunity to Contribute Financially to Clean Calgary Association’s Efforts
December 15, 2008Clean Calgary Association is a unique non-profit, charitable organization that is making strides in the face of many environmental challenges. Despite the breadth of work that needs to be done, environmental organizations receive only 2% of donations. Please consider donating to Clean Calgary Association, and / or another environmental organization through Canada Helps so that together we can continue this important work.
In 2008, Clean Calgary Association provided environmental education, resources, and services to tens of thousands of Calgarians (and growing!) through
-
Courses and interactive presentations to schools, business, and other interested individuals;
-
Clean Calgary Association’s EcoStore (809 – 4th Ave.) where you’ll find hundreds of products that provide practical and fun environmental alternatives,
-
Customized services that help businesses and residents reduce their environmental impact; and
-
Extensive website resources (www.cleancalgary.org), newsletters, emails, and telephone calls.
Thank you to everyone who supports Clean Calgary Association by taking part in our programs, volunteering, shopping at the EcoStore, telling others about the resources we offer, making suggestions, purchasing memberships, giving grants and donations, and - so importantly - making changes in your own life! You are an integral part of the Clean Calgary community. Happy holidays and New Year!
