This 50 minute presentation examines the problems associated with waste in our municipality, how to reduce that waste as well as water and energy saving ideas for residents.
Developed as a follow up to our Waste at Work presentation, Waste at Home explores ideas around:
- examining purchasing decisions
- what to look for in an environmentally friendly product
- recycling in Calgary
- how to offset your GHG emissions
- composting options
- indoor and outdoor water saving techniques
- energy use reduction.
The cost is $5. Space is limited to 12 participants.
